Ensemble in
our World Premier of
BEAUTY
& THE BEAST JR.!
|
The Musical Theatre Ensemble
is a professionally-based theatre and dance workshop for talented young
performers ages 14-19. 2009 Participants performed in
THE DROWSY CHAPERONE,
a 70 minute version of this Tony Award Winning
Musical. Music Theatre International ONCE AGAIN selected Theatre Arts Center to present this new
version as a national test site for consideration as an
MTI School Edition show. This was the world premiere
of this test version. These shows are a great resume builder for
young performers!
OUR TEEN
ENSEMBLE WAS THE FIRST TO PERFORM THOROUGHLY MODERN
MILLIE JR, DISNEY'S BEAUTY AND THE BEAST JR, JUST SO JR,
AND MOBY DICK THE MUSICAL JR.

Master Classes with Broadway choreographers!
Performances are at TWO Professional Theatres -- the beautifully restored
Sellersville
Theatre in Central Bucks County and
Bristol
Riverside Theatre in lower Bucks County, NE of
Philadelphia.

JUNIOR
ENSEMBLE
Session 4A
The
Junior Ensemble are students from Session Four who
are invited to perform in BOUND FOR BROADWAY 2010. They will add Aug.
9 - Aug 15 to work
with Broadway choreographers on several numbers to
be included in the show. This add-on session
also includes classes and special workshops.
Past Junior Ensemble (right) worked with NYC
choreographer George Nieves and B'way veteran Paul
Canaan.
